State Advocacy

AdvaMed's state government relations program consists of three primary components; monitoring legislative activity, sharing information on technology-related initiatives with members, and working with a State Affairs Committee to develop and implement initiatives to influence priority initiatives. State Medical Technology Alliance:
With the number of state device associations on the rise and greater challenges facing the industry, AdvaMed – working cooperatively with organizations across the country – formed the State Medical Technology Alliance in 2007.  The purpose is to create a more formal relationship between AdvaMed and various state-based device groups as well as provide member companies additional benefits including opportunities for networking, collaboration, advocacy, and education.
